House of Edgar "Old & Rare" 13 oz Tartan Cloth

The House of Edgar is well known for producing some of the more "rare" tartans that exist. Located in Perth, Scotland, they are one of the few mills that still weaves a "traditional selvedge edge" in their "Old & Rare" range. The benefit of this type of edge is that it's smoother than what is called a "tuck-in selvedge edge". This type of traditional edge has a better finish but is a little more expensive.
